i am thinking about putting a system in my car what should I put 12 or 15 What is the best brand of speakers and amps

The lower the size subs you get, the better the response is of the speakers. But the bigger speakers you get, the louder the lower notes are.
In other words...
Smaller subs are tighter, but dont go as low
Larger subs are more slugish, but go lower

On my opinion i would choose the 12's because they are tighter than 15's and they dont use up my entire trunk.

When it comes to brands. Different people will tell you different things because they are all opinions and not facts.
It also depends on what you are looking for....
SQ (sound quality) subwoofer or
SPL (sound pressure level) subwoofers.

Obvoiusly the SQ subs will sound better than the SPL subs. But the SPL subs will go louder.
