I'm new to building computers, and i admit, i don't know as much as i would like too. I think i put together a pretty good rig here, But i would like some constructive criticism, Basically, i would like to know if all these parts will work together properly, and fit together well. I plan to use it for gaming, although not hardcore, casual gaming. Thank you very much for your time!

Answer
Ok let's start off:

Case: Great Case will hold everything in properly.

HDD: I own the Black caviar drive and I love it!

Monitor: Great monitor, it's LED back lit which means more vibrant colors and efficiency

GPU: This is a good GPU, but do yourself a favor and go for a GTX 560, yes, it will cost more, but the performance between those 2 GPU's are Drastic.

Sound Card: You did not list a 7.1 channel speaker system, so i do not know why you added this. Your Motherboard already has intergrated sound which is ok.

PSU: Great PSU, but I would definitely save up a bit more and buy a modular PSU with a little more wattage.

Speakers: Like i said previously, this will not work with your sound card, but will work with your Mobo.

Peripherals: Nice mouse and keyboard

RAM: Great RAM, Patriot makes really great memory modules.

Mobo: The Z68 platform is a great choice for gamers.

CPU: Probably the best CPU for gaming given the price.

Windows is obvious

Kaspersky: Why not try Trend Micro? They have a great antivirus program out right now that works like a charm!

Ok everything seems to be really nice and in check. Like i said earlier about the GPU just step up to the GTX 560 or 560ti. By the way, the CPU you chose is an unlocked CPU so it is "Overcloking Ready," which means that you should Definitely buy an aftermarket CPU cooler like the Corsair H40.
