Whats the best speaker system i can get for under 1 grand?

Im trying to get 6 speakers a head unit amp and two subwoofers for under 1000 but whats the best type i can get for each and i want the head unit to have an aux input so give me your response and tell me why

Hifonics or Rockford speakers. Around letssay 300. Letsay 1000 watt system so you gonna need Rockford r1000 amp and 2 alpine type r 12"s that comes to 500
And you got 300 to spend on nice stereo like pioneer or kenwood Which is around under 200. You should have all this under 1000 I got half of everything I listed >:)

Just an idea, you could get an ipod/mp3 player plug it into self powered speakers like Audioengine A2 speakers. One speaker plugs into the wall socket, the other extension is a USB port, an ipod with a docking station will have a USB port. This is a very plain and elegant solution for the money.

Assuming you already have an ipod or mp3 player a refurbished docking station and Audioengine a2 speakers should leave you around $30 change. Just a thought.
