I currently have a HP Media Center PC and would like to hook up another speaker system to it.

Currently I have a Creative speaker system, it has two smaller desk top speakers and a sub-woofer. It connects to my PC through a standard AUX cable into the back port of my PC.

I would like to hook up another system, one consisting of 2 desk top speakers and a sub-woofer, this system also connects to a PC with a AUX cable.

I just need to know whether I need to purchase a AUX split-er or could I just plug the AUX cable into the port that is in the front of my computer?

Answer
You just need to find a way to plug it in, it doesn't matter how.

Then right click on the sound icon

Click playback devices

and enable both of your sound systems. (Both should show up)

How do I hook up a 5.1 surround sound PC speaker system to an Xbox 360? Do I need to buy an adapter or is it possible to rig one up using adapters you can buy at Walmart or Radio Shack?

I had to buy an adapter for my Xbox and my xbox 360, so I could use all the speakers from my logitech 5.1 surround sound PC speakers or else I would only be able to get 2.1.

Answer
is it the one with the matrix button?
