Does the memorex speaker system work with the iPhone 3g?

I just bought a memorex speaker system for an iPod but I have an iPhone and when I put it on it says it won't be able to charge it and when I play music it it doesn't come out of the speakers.

probably not. with your iphone, i've found only certain speakers will work. just because they have the same 32 pin connector doesn't mean they'll work.

Actually, the amount of storage (GB) is the same. iPhone 3G still has 8 GB and 16 GB.

The only difference between the 3G iPhone and the current iPhone:

3G - internet (when not on Wi-Fi) is almost three times as fast. You can pretty much say that the 3G iPhone is "always connected to Wi-Fi" (though Wi-Fi is still faster).

GPS - Global Positioning System

Look - Plastic Backing, 16 GB has a choice of Black or White back

External Speaker quality improved

Price - if you're new to AT&T, have an iPhone, or currently eligible for upgrade, you get the $199/$299 price. Otherwise you have to pay $399/$499, the same as the old iPhone (and still renew contract). If you don't want to renew contract, then it's $599/$699 released later.
The data plan has been upped to $30 instead of $20...this makes the iPhone 3G the same as all the other smart phones (and helps pay for the price difference.
