How do you setup an outside speaker system?

Ducky

Answer
I'll give it a try...

I just installed some outdoor speakers at a local restaraunt, and if you have all the right tools, it should only take a couple of hours or less, depending upon what exactly you want to do, and how neat of a job you want to do too.

If you have a receiver, buy some 16 gauge speaker cable that is long enough to run along the floorboard around the outter walls to where you want to place your speakers. Connect the speaker cables to the "B" speaker output on your receiver.

Leave some extra speaker cable to play with until you have positioned your outdoor speaker to where you want them. Make sure your outdoor speakers are "weather resistant" or "weather proof" and find a solid mounting place for each speaker on either side of your listening area. Follow the mounting instructions provided by the outdoor speaker manufacturer.

Connect the speakers (make sure the positive "+" and negative "-" connections all match), turn on your receiver and press the "speaker B" button, and you should be all set.

If you have any more specific questions (like if you are going with ground outdoor speakers or wireless outdoor speakers, etc.), I would be glad to give you further information.

Enjoy!

i want to if i`m choosing the right speaker or no?

If I were you I would seriously reconsider. Did you buy an iPod so that you could listed to music or did you buy an iPod so that you could view photos on your television?

For less than $200 you could buy a 500 WATT stereo system! Here is an example of what I am talking about: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_05790127000P?vName=Computers+%26+Electronics&cName=Audio+%26+Home+Theater&sName=Stereo+Systems
This stereo system will BUMP 500 WATTS OF MUSIC! This will blow away this 12 watt piece of junk your considering buying. If you buy a stereo system like the one in my link then all you need as an "RCA to headphone jack" cable OR a "headphone jack to headphone jack" cable to hook up the iPod. These cables cost no more than $10.

"RCA to headphone jack" cable:

"headphone jack to headphone jack" cable:

Here are the features of the PlayDock Z500 and my thoughts on why it isn't worth the money:

- Big Screen TV entertainment
YOU CAN VIEW PHOTOS ON YOUR COMPUTER!

- Built-in Subwoofer/Bass Control
YOU CAN USE YOUR FEET TO WALK TO THE STEREO!

- Expansive connectivity
THIS ONE IS A JOKE! YOUR iPOD HAS ALREADY COMES WITH EXPANSIVE CONECTIVITY! JUST USE ONE OF THE CABLES I LISTED ABOVE.

- Indoor or outdoor entertainment
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HEAR A 500 WATT STEREO FROM OUTSIDE AND BATTERIES WILL START TO ADD UP $$$-WISE

- Wireless remote control
GET OFF YOUR A** AND CHANGE THE CHANNEL. DO YOU WANT A REMOTE OR SOME SERIOUSLY BUMPIN' SOUND?!!!

You can even buy computer speakers for less than $50 that will sound better.

If I were you I would just ask myself if I want a cute and niffty little iPod speaker system or if I want BIG, CLEAR, BUMPIN' SOUND!!!
