I just installed the Windows XP Pro Edition, Version: Sp3- Final (RTM) to my computer, it works pretty good except for the fact that the sound doesn't work also the screen is small.

Thanks for your help

Answer
Try checking this:
1. Whatever player you are using, (like windows media player), make sure the volume is turned up for it, at the bottom of the screen when it is trying to play.
2. Go down to the bottom right in your system tray and left click on the speaker icon and make sure it is turned all the way up.
3. If the above didn't do it, go to the same speaker icon in the system tray and right click on it and then choose playback. There should be an icon showing speakers with a green check mark beside it. If you don't see speakers then right click anywhere in the box and check show disabled devices and you then you will see the speakers. Right click on speakers and set it as default and enabled if it's not already.
4. If none of the above did it for you then yep sounds like your missing or haven't got your sound card driver working.

Audio will not work on specific youtube videos?

For some reason I cannot get the sound to work on about half of a certain channel's youtube videos.

Judging from the comments, nobody else is having my problem. I have tried changing headphones, using speakers, rebooting, using different browsers, updating flash player, and clearing cookies/history. Any other suggestions? Can everyone else hear the audio? One video that specifically doesn't work is the Lady Madonna tutorial. Thanks for any help in advance.

Answer
Open the volume control window by clicking your "Start" button and then "All Programs." Click "Accessories," then "Entertainment," then "Volume Control." Alternatively, just click on the speaker icon that's in your System Tray.

Check the volume and mute settings. If any of the mute check boxes have been checked, uncheck them. If this doesn't work, read on.
Perform a System Restore If Necessary.

If the sound has been audible from your computer's speakers and is suddenly lost, you may need to perform a System Restore. Click on the " Start" button and then "All Programs."

Click on "Accessories," then "System Tools," then "System Restore."

Complete the System Restore Wizard. If this doesn't work, read on.
Delete and Reinstall the Original Sound Drivers

Deleting and reinstalling your sound driver may resolve the problem. Your sound driver may have been corrupted or may be missing. The result of this is that the restore utility menu won't be available. For Windows XP, follow these steps.

Click on your "Start" button. Click on "Control Panel" and then "System." Next, click on "Hardware," then "Device Manager, then "Sound, Video and Game Controllers."

Click on a sound device named in the Device Manager, and then press the Delete key on the keyboard. Click "OK" in the window that appears. Remove all the listed sound devices i this way EXCEPT Audio Codec and Legacy Audio Drivers.

Restart your computer. Reinstall the deleted drivers using the Driver and Application Recovery CDs that came with your Windows XP system.

Visit your computer manufacturer's official website. Check for any updated sound driver software for your sound card. If any, download them along with the installation instructions.
