What are the best speakers for my iPod nano 2nd generation?

BobS

I want good speakers, nothing too fancy, for my ipod nano that aren't too expensive. Plz help

Answer
Speaker that are made specifically for iPods are pretty expensive a lot of the time and are not always that great. If you purchase an inexpensive "RCA to headphone jack" cable you can hook your iPod up to any speakers/stereo systems with the RCA connections. You can also hook your iPod up to any computer speakers. Just go to your computer and unplug the cable with the green end and plug that into the iPod's headphone jack. Here's a picture of the RCA to headphone jack cable (probably cost less than $10):

MEMOREX SPEAKER SYSTEM FOR IPOD REMOTE CONTROL NOT WORKING PROPERLY?

Claudia Ca

I JUST GOT A MEMOREX SPEAKER SYSTEM FOR IPOD. I'M USING IT WITH MY IPOD NANO. ON THE REMOTE CONTROL, THE POWER, VOLUME, AND MUTE BUTTONS SEEM TO WORK FINE, BUT THE PREVIOUS, NEXT, AND PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONS DO NOT RESPOND WHEN USED. IT JUST DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. I HAVE TO DO IT MANUALLY ON THE IPOD. MY FRIEND ALSO BOUGHT ONE AND HERS IS WORKING FINE. WHAT COULD IT BE?

Answer
It's either the system, or the remote. Get with the friend, use your remote on his unit. If it works your remote is good. Use his remote on your system. If it doesn't work, your system is bad, assuming his remote works fine on his system.

If all the units are the same, this usually tells the story. You can also try your speakers on his unit. Make notes on what you do. Hope this helps, Magyver
