Answer
You need AM2+ or AM3 to run DDR2-1066, otherwise you will have to run 800. Also you're better off with 4GB RAM.

If you want 1066MHz then get an Athlon II X2 250, which is $2 cheaper than the 6000+. This should also outperform your 6000+ because of the newer K10 architecture, despite a slightly slower clock.

The power supply is a fairly poor quality one, and poor quality PSUs can damage components. Buy a decent unit from Corsair, Antec, or PC Power and Cooling.

Other than that looks good.

Answer
Ok, going on what I see and guesstimates of prices you are paying:

Pre-Built $600

Your build: Flawed specs, here are two items you need.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017&cm_sp=Cat_Power_Supplies-_-Spotlight-_-17-341-017 for $75 (yes, a 600w PS is plenty if you are going single Video card.)
You chose laptop memory. This will work.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311 for $42.
I don't see a case. Let's pick a cool but budget friendly model.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153 for $50 I really like this case and the cooling cap
