Playing iPod through speaker system?

Tim

Okay so I have this speaker system http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insignia%26%23153%3B+-+670W+5.1-Ch.+Home+Theater+System/9833984.p?id=1218214391173&skuId=9833984 and i was wondering if you had any ideas for how to play my iPod Touch through these speakers.
The 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male doesn't work - that port on the receiver is only for some sort of setup mic

Answer
I wrote an article on that a while ago. There are various options, especially with an iPod Touch. Mostly, you can use adapter cables that attach to your iPod's interface port or headphone jack. Your home theater system doesn't have a USB port, so you'll need an adapter cable that uses regular RCA audio connectors to get audio from you iPod.

Answer
i would most highly recommend, the iHome systems,
they get freakishly loud
and still maintain AMAZING sound quality,
i have had mine for about 3 years, and it still is working amazing for me,
it charges my iPod and it can blast music to unbelievably high levels!
