my speakers suck!!!!?

Rachel

i dont know anything about cars or systems for that matter. but my speakers are blown, and i dont know what to do ): i need to know how i can get them fixed for cheap. i dont plan on having the car for very much longer but i can't go without music sounding decent til i can get a new car.
your retarded. i know i need to change them. i need to know how i'd go about changing them.

Answer
cheap unbranded speakers can be bought from anywhere and they dont sound too bad. i wouldnt suggest going all out if your planning to sell the car and speakers arent easily repaired. go for 6x9's for decent quality.

to change them unscrew the retaining screws around the rim of the speaker. (you may need to remove the door card/door trim from the side of the door first) mark the + and - connection with a bit of tape then wire up the new speakers and screw them back on....not difficult and all you would need is a screw driver. IF the wiring on your new or old speakers are bare-ended your may need to solder them together or for a quick fix just tape over the connections with insulation tape.

WITH ANY ELECTRICAL WORK DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL OF YOUR CAR BATTERY FIRST!!!!!

Where can you buy a single speaker?

I have the Sharp Micro Component System
http://www.electronicexpress.com/catalog/19794/Sharp-XLDH259P

One of my speakers broke, so I need to buy a new one. The model number is cp-dh259n. Is there a website I can just order a single speaker from?

Thanks in advance.

Answer
speakers are cheap they come usually in a pair,, and the model you showed its a company product and its really difficult to find one speaker, you can repair your old one or replace the single left sharp speaker with other pair of sharp or any company , and finally you can sell it n buy a new model
