best 2.1 speaker system home theater image
Q. I have a Panasonic SC-HT800V DVD/VCR Home Theater Sound system.
I just bought a Samsung Led TV and i was wondering if i can connect the sound system to the TV to make the speakers work for the TV.
I Tried connecting the component cables but only sound that will play is from the DVD or VCR and i cant seem to figure it out

NO - the box systems are not AV Receivers. They are not designed to take 5.1 sound from outside devices.
You might consider a soundbar connected directly to the Samsung television. Make sure the soundbar accepts Optical and is a 5.1 unit and not a 2.1 unit.

what manufacter focus on marketing than there own product... there systems are designed to operate through the subwoofer and there are proprietary....
ASK ANY AUDIOPHILES
IF you hear the highs and not the lowes it must be bose...
Those systems were designed for one reason... to make you waste your money.
if something goes wrong with the dvd player you gotta get a new system
1 speaker blows = new system
the speakers were designed to be small for a reason, so you dont receive a full range sound out of the speakers.
If your going to do a blu ray player with the surround sound bose does not support the audio formats for blu ray....
AND I WANT YOU TO DO ONE THING IN YOUR SEARCH FOR A BOSE SYSTEM
GOT TO THE DEALERS... CONTACT BOSE THEMSELVES ASK THEM FOR THE FREQUENCY RESPONSE TIME ON THERE SPEAKERS AND SEE THE ANSWER YOU GET...
A GOOD MANUFACTUER WILL LIST THERE FREQUENCY RATING FOR THE SPEAKER SO YOU KNOW HOW LOW THE LOWS ARE IN THE SPEAKER

IT WOULD BE RIGHT AROUND THE SAME PRICE IF NOT CHEAPER THAT THE BOSE DEPENDING ON WHICH SYSTEM YOU WERE LOOKING AT ..... AND TRUST ME DONT GO 2.1..... 5.1 OR 7.1 IS THE WAY TO GO NOW
