How do I set up my computer as a karaoke system?

I want to use my laptop as a karaoke system. I think my computer def has great audio output and I have a nice speaker system so as long as I get some good karaoke software and a good enough microphone I should be good to go.

Any suggestions on karaoke software and microphone for a computer?

i have this for PC. i run Windows 7 BTW so if you have another OS it might not work. but im not sure what you have.

I have a cd burner and a cassette player that I have already hooked up to my computer thru the speaker system and I can use the same cable to insert it into the microphone jack on the back.All I need to know is what program that is on Windows XP to do this with?!I have media player and about 4 other dvd/cd program so what can I do???
