I want to hook up two Bose 151 outdoor speakers to my RCA RT2600 home theater system. Will this work?

The Bose 151 owners manual says:

Compatibility
⢠Compatible with amplifiers or receivers rated 10 to 100 watts per channel at 4 to 8 ohms
⢠50W IEC continuous power handling at 6 ohms

The RCA Spec says:

⢠650-Watt Total Power
Two channels driven into 8 ohms, from 40hz-
20khz with no more than 0.9% THD.
⢠100-Watts Left, Right, Center,
Surround Left and Surround Right

Each channel of the RCA delivers 100-Watts Peak power, or aprox. 50 Watts RMS which is exactly within the spec for your speakers.

Just don't connect more than one speaker to each speaker output on the RCA because it wants to see a constant 8 ohm impedance.
