What speakers are loud and good for parties?

I live in a fraternity house im also a dj and at our last party the speakers blew but luckily not all of them. They were old and crappy anyways, im looking for a whole new speaker system for the house, maybe like 5 speakers(3 for inside and 2 for outside), an amp/receiver, and a subwoofer. but im not trying to spend 1000 bucks so something cheap but that give good quality sound, can be turned up LOUD(like yell over music loud), and that are tough and long lasting id rather spend more money on loud, quality sound that lasts for years than some distorted crappy sounding speakers just because theyre easy on my wallet

What kind of surround sound reciever do I need?

I just bought a Jensen speaker system that is 360 watts total for dirt cheap and I need to get a reciever for them. They a re 5.1 and I was wondering where I could get a cheap reciever that will work with them. Also, what wires do I need to hook it up? It is a five speaker system with a subwoofer (6 in all)

The Sherwood RD6500 5.1 receiver for $89.00 is going to be hard to beat (see link). Just get some Dayton 16 AWG speaker wire and Dayton interconnects (subwoofer cable and interconnects for components) from Parts Express.
