How do i connect an iphone to a car speaker system without a stereo?

My stereo got jacked and i want to make an amplifier to connect my iphone to my car speaker system directly.
that wont work cause u need an amp im wondering if anyone knows how to make an amp from shit that you buy at radio shack or something

Take an auxiliary cord. Cut one end off. Splice the two main wires. Wire those to your speaker. Or just get a new radio.

I have the samsung GS3 and my gf has an iphone, and i am looking for a "bose-like" speaker system that can play both through wireless or bluetooth means.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated but i would like to keep the price down to a reasonable amount. <2-hundo.

i know bose can be pretty expensive for what they offer.

"bose-like" does that mean you want something that is overpriced junk?

All kidding aside. If you are after the best sound quality get a good set of speakers (preferably with a built in Amp). Then connect it to a wireless or bluetooth streaming module.

For the speakers I'd recommend AudioEngine A2 or A5s.

For streaming I'd get an Airport Extreme for your GFs iPhone. If you want bluetooth get one of these

If i plug my (8gb) iPhone into a (made for ipod) speaker system, and i have an alarm set, would it sound through the speakers? or the iphone itself?

Everything I find in the stores wants to put my phone into airplane mode. This doesn't allow me listen to Sirius/XM via my phone. Does anyone know of anything out there? Any suggestions would be great.
