I am looking for a well made and great Digital Projector and a multimedia speaker system to get great sound but Not wanting to pay the high price tag. Does anyone know of a cheap but gooood Projector thts digital that I can hook up my i mac computer and or a dvd player to to play movies projected onto a wall? and it has to be under 500 bucks.. how about a speaker system.. taht has to aslo be under 300 bucks. THANKS!

The least expensive factory refurbished 480i DLP projector sells for around $560 at amazon.com. It's the Infocus SP4805 that has a contrast level of 2000:1, a 4X color wheel to lessen seeing "rainbows," and has a built-in Faroudja deinterlacer to process all types of video and game imputs to remove jaggies. A replacement bulb costs $343 and lasts about 3,000 hours when the projector is set to the "econ" mode. The bulb will lasts just over 4 years when the projector is operated at 2 hours per day. And the cost per hour is around 0.12 cents. It also has a built-in hi-fi quality speaker. I highly recommend this projector because it's a best buy.
Here's an actual "92 inch diagonal projected image of a scene from the movie "A Good Woman," via the Infocus SP4805 onto a painted wall some 15 feet away. The screen is a paint on screen from goosystems.com for about $150.00 and the projector sits on top of a coffee table. The room light is not completely dark, but semilit with a single corner reading lamp.

What is a good cheap speaker system?

Hey guys, I'm in college and I need a good speaker system I can use at parties but is still somewhat cheap. Nothing fancy, just basic party speakers, doesn't need to be extremely loud.
