What is the max output current for a USB laptop port?
I have connected to my HP/Compac NC6120 laptop a pair of speakers system in the USB.
How many amperes does the USB port support?

The speakers system drains about 400 mA.

The specification is a maximum of 5 volts & 500mA. That's why iPads need a special charger. They require 10 volts.

I have a ipod touch 5th generation and a ipad mini i want a speaker system that has a lot of bass i like the bass to boom . what kind of docking station do you recommend?

beats beatbox is known for their bass but i find its a normal speaker for cheap they put a beats logo and it quadruples the price bose has a lot of bass for half the price but the all time best is BANG AND OLUFSEN but it burns a hole in your wallet
